This charming domain is located in a natural protected area, 8 Km from Angoulême. The property, enclosed by 80 ha of pastures and woodland and a beautiful lake of 10 ha, opened it´s doors to guests at the end of June 2009.
This XIX century manor house has 10 individually decorated rooms, a casual restaurant with a beautiful terrace and splendid lake view, and it´s own tennis court and 20m swimming pool.
Each spacious room (between 15 and 35m²) is individually and charmingly decorated. Half the rooms have stunning views over our lake, the other half with views over the gardens and swimming pool. Every room has it´s own bathroom with shower or bath with shower, hair dryer and television. Two of the bedrooms have brand new bathrooms.
Having finished her studies in tourisme at college, Pascale attended a hotellery college in the italian part of Switzerland. She then continued to study and work in Ireland, Mexico and finally spent three years working in St Moritz in a 5 star hotel (namely the Kempinski Grand Hôtel and Badrutt’s Palace) as an event manager.
For the last two years Pascale has worked as the manager of two well known restaurants in Lugano, the town where she grew up.
Pascale´s passion is animals, horses in particular, which she has been involved with from a young age. She has finished in 2010 a professional academy in Germany (EPA, Baden Baden) to be an equestrine manager and horse riding instructor.
Ivan, originally from Denmark, took his chef´s apprenticeship in Fribourg, Switzerland in the starred restaurant La Fleur de Lys.
After having worked in several different establishements in Switzerland (for example Baur au lac in Zurich, a 3 star restaurant in Gstaad Palace in Gstaad), he took the title of Head Chef at the Kempinski Grand Hôtel des Bains, a 5 star hotel in St Moritz with 6 restaurants. He oversaw the opening of several top class restaurants throughout Europe, then came back to Switzerland to the Grisons at the Tschuggen Grand Hotel as Head Chef.
A renowned chef, Ivan is recognised in several gastronomique institutions, such as Gault Milleau and Feinschmecker
